Einstein A Go Go - Weird and wonderful science

We farewelled Scholar Nicola (promoted to Dr. Nicola as a parting gift) as she leaves EAGG to pursue her postdoctoral scientific career in Scotland. Did she earn her "Science Scout Badges"? Listen and find out. We also interviewed Susanna (PhD student researching Alpine ecology) and heard about what it sometimes takes to be a scientist - camping in wet and remote Alpine locations in order to monitor plots of native plants containing 1000's of seedlings! Other stories included umbilical cord blood banks, 100 year old light bulbs and H5N1 influenza in Indonesia. (http://einsteinagogo.net)
